Seven courses are free in full, the first lesson of every paid course is free to read, and until 20 November the code ACADEMY25 takes 25% off.
Today the Blue Autonomy Academy opens at academy.blueautonomy.gr. It holds 39 self-paced courses on vessel performance, maritime data and the regulations that price them, written by Christos Papandreou from almost fifteen years of fleet performance work. He is the CEO and founder of Blue Autonomy.
The courses are grouped into nine specialisations. Each one takes you from first principles to a finished piece of work: the courses in the order they build on each other, then a capstone project and a second certificate that names the whole sequence. Every paid course ends in a graded exam and a certificate anyone can verify at academy.blueautonomy.gr/verify/.
What is free
Seven courses are free in full and need no account, among them a complete specialisation on maritime decarbonisation and compliance. Every paid course opens its first lesson free, so you can judge the teaching before you buy.
What it costs
You pay once, with no subscription, and what you buy stays on your account for as long as the Academy runs. A specialisation costs up to a third less than its courses bought one at a time. For the first month, until Friday 20 November, the code ACADEMY25 takes 25% off every course and specialisation. Companies buying for several people can write to info@blueautonomy.gr and receive one offer and one invoice.
Who it is for
Technical superintendents and performance analysts, technical and fleet managers, naval architects and marine engineers, and the chartering and operations staff who meet performance figures in a charter party.
Where it is taught. Vessel Performance Analyst I: Measuring Performance (5 courses) · Vessel Performance Analyst II: The Hull in Service (4 courses) · Ship Technology Foundations (4 courses) · Added Weather Resistance (4 courses)
